Playing the Solo Piano Style:
- When I play solo . . . I think modally. After studying the Bass, Chords and Melody, blend them all “under” the hands. For instance, I often split the chords between the hands.
- It’s always recommended to play with a metronome.
- Sing along and let the hands play what you are singing.
